T.O.

It's been quiet. It's been too quiet.
Here it is, the dawn of the 2007 NFL season and, honestly, has anyone heard so much as a peep out of Terrell Owens? T.O.'s mouth has been muzzled. That's a good thing for Owens and the Dallas Cowboys, who open their season as a trendy pick by many to contend for the NFC championship.
Could it be that Owens finally gets it? Or, once the lights turn on for real in the regular season, will the drama unfold like it typically does? Much of last year's "stories" involved Owens tense relationship with former head coach Bill Parcells. As for the Cowboys' new coach, Wade Phillips, Owens said the two are on the same page "as far as how to play the game."Is anyone on T.O.'s page?
This year, he said he is eyeing 100 receptions, 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns, pretty lofty goals, but he is healthy and more than capable of achieving. He seems at peace, and that's half the battle for Owens. Oh, T.O. feels very good about himself. His problems have mostly been with others in the game, not so much outside the lines, and he implied he doesn't get enough credit for staying out of trouble away from the game.
I thought it was funny hearing T.O. last year, i would just sit and watch, and that's what i think he wants when he puts on these shows. Because i am not a cowboys, it doesn't matter to me, so i just sat back and enjoyed listening to T.O. I hope he does it again this year.
